Cassie Ingram

Veterinary Assistant

Cassie is a dedicated veterinary assistant with five years of experience in the field. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from MSU in 2024 and has a deep passion for medicine and science. Cassie loves the challenge of diagnosing patients who can’t tell us what’s wrong and finds it incredibly rewarding to help beloved family members feel better.

She has a special interest in plants (with nearly 30 houseplants at home!) and enjoys caring for all creatures — she truly can’t pick a favorite animal, even down to insects. At the clinic, her favorite part of the day is the clinic cats and their entertaining antics.

At home, Cassie stays busy with her crew: Paisley, a 7-year-old boxer mix; Poppy, a 2-year-old DSH who is disabled with hind-end weakness that requires regular bladder expressions; Sunday, a 1-year-old ball python; and Pascal, a 1-year-old crested gecko. Caring for Poppy has given her an even deeper compassion and understanding for pets with special needs.

Outside of work, Cassie enjoys reading, playing guitar, hiking, going to the gym, crafting, and thrift/antique shopping. Her curiosity, compassion, and love for learning make her a wonderful advocate for both pets and their people and the perfect asset to the BFAH family!

Though new to the field, Maria has quickly become a familiar and friendly face at our clinic. She loves the welcoming atmosphere at BFAH and values the opportunity to learn from some of the best in the business. Her favorite animal? Cats! She adores their quirky personalities and believes their soothing purrs can fix just about anything.

Outside of work, Maria enjoys exploring local estate sales and thrift shops on the weekends. She’s bilingual and often helps interpret for Spanish-speaking clients. Maria also has a creative side—she’s great at braiding hair and loves experimenting with new hairstyles!

Maria is excited to grow in this field and is proud to be part of a team that shares her passion for animals.
