Dr. Amanda Stowers is a native of the Mississippi delta where she grew up on a row crop and catfish farm in Inverness, Ms. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal and Dairy Sciences from Mississippi State University, then pursed her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Mississippi State College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 2015. Dr. Stowers has practiced veterinary medicine in Aiken, SC for over 3 years and then in Starkville, Ms for over 4 years. Dr. Stowers enjoys coming home to her husband (Patrick) and her son (Blane). They will be expecting another son in December! They have 2 dogs, Gus (German Shorthaired Pointer), Ruby Sue(King Charles Spaniel), and 1 cat (Paisley). They are members of the First United Methodist Church in Starkville as well. Outside of work Dr. Stowers enjoys reading, gardening, traveling, and fellowshipping with friends and family.
