Lindsey Pierce, DVM

Practice Owner

Dr. Lindsey Pierce is a Columbus, Mississippi native and she opened BFAH in February of 2017. She attained her Bachelor of Science in Animal & Dairy Sciences from Mississippi State University, then pursued her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Mississippi State College of Veterinary Medicine. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family. She and her husband Ben have three children, Emma Jane (6), Mallen (4), and Asher (1). They also have two dogs, Tucker (Goldendoodle) and Charley (King Charles Spaniel) and thee cats, Chase (pictured), Johnny and June (Sphynx). Dr. Pierce and her staff look forward to seeing you soon!

Dr. Amanda Stowers, DVM

Dr. Amanda Stowers is a native of the Mississippi delta where she grew up on a row crop and catfish farm in Inverness, Ms. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal and Dairy Sciences from Mississippi State University, then pursed her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Mississippi State College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 2015. Dr. Stowers has practiced veterinary medicine in Aiken, SC for over 3 years and then in Starkville, Ms for over 4 years. Dr. Stowers enjoys coming home to her husband (Patrick) and her son (Blane). They will be expecting another son in December! They have 2 dogs, Gus (German Shorthaired Pointer), Ruby Sue(King Charles Spaniel), and 1 cat (Paisley). They are members of the First United Methodist Church in Starkville as well. Outside of work Dr. Stowers enjoys reading, gardening, traveling, and fellowshipping with friends and family.
